Ecohydraulic shears come in all sizes and are typically described according to blade length in mm. They can be powered by both single and 3 phase power supplies. Some shears have a diesel option. Operator safety is upper-most in mind so our range of shears are equipped with blade guards and foot-operated switches.  

The blades can cut on all four edges, allowing the blades to be removed, turned and refitted to expose each edge in turn before the blades need replacing. A simple foot pedal operation closes the jaws, when released the jaws return to the open position, increasing operator safety. A manual hold down clamp is fitted to prevent kick back of the material and maintain a safe distance between the operator and the cutting blades.
